While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either. The house at Učakovci 45 is one of those houses.
The family at this house is directly descended from the Maljevac of Učakovci 11.
As this is a newer house in Učakovci, the existence of the Maljevac surname does not count towards the number of original families with this surname.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Maljevac (Zidarov) b. 1839. He married Katarina Žalec (Markovca) b. 1848. Together they had 4 children:
1A. Ana Maljevac b. 1874 at Učakovci 11, m. 1897 to Jožef Krušec (Brežanov) — they remained at this house.
1B. Katarina Maljevac b. 1876, m. 1902 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Matija Kalčevič (Liplje 4) — they lived at Učakovci 34.
1C. Johan Maljevac b. 1879. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
1D. Barbara Maljevac b. 1882, m. 1902 to Franc Hudak (Hudakov).
Jože Krušec and his wife Ana Maljevac [1A] had 5 children, including:
