While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house has the name of Petrovi. This name clearly refers to the name of the patriarch at this house at one time.
Through the period of our studies, we have found one house which originally carried the Lukanič surname in Kot pri Damelju. The Lukanič is not originally found anywhere else in the Vinica parish. It is much more common in the neighbouring Sinji Vrh parish.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Lukanič b. 1773. He married Katarina Šnelar b. 1785. Together, they had at least 4 children, including:
1A. Ana Lukanič b. 1807. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.
1B. Katarina Lukanič b. 1810. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.

1D. Johan Lukanič b. 1817, m. 1839 to Katarina Šnelar — they remained at this house.
At the same time, there was also a Kobe family living here with the Lukanič family. Their connection is not apparent. It also appears that this Kobe family was likely not the original inhabitant of this house.
