Zilje 34 (Mali Majiščari)

The Status Animarum of 1881 names this family as Majiščari, however older Ziljani remember this household being called the Mali Majiščari. This family was not directly related to the Majiščari, but likely moved here from the Peričini household on the old road. The last member of this family was Helena Čemas who died in 1939. Nothing remains of the Zilje 34 house today.

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Čemas. He married Marija Benetič. Together, they had at least 6 children, including:
