The Moravci (today pronounced Maravci) household at Zilje 12 is named as such in the 1879 status animarum, and refers to the surname of the family at that time. The 1674 tax register mentions Ivan and Jure Horvat (Haruath) as having a total of 1 Hübe of land in Zilje. By the mid 1700s, we have found records for one Horvat family in Zilje, and a marriage of a Barbara Horvat to an Ive Moravec ca. 1773.
