This house originally carried the name of Dragojovi. This name may suggest that the original family to live at this house were from Draga in the Sinji Vrh parish.
Through the period of our studies, we have found seven distinct houses which originally carried the Mihelčič surname. This is the sixth of the seven houses (in order of house address).
The oldest records we have found to date for a person from this house is for several siblings, including:

1B. Nikolaj Mihelčič b. 1795, died at the age of 52:. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.
1C. Marko Mihelčič b. 1805, died at the age of 48. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.

2C. Barbara Mihelčič b. 1833, m. 1862 to a man from Fratrovci 1.
Jurij Moravec and his wife Ana Mihelčič [2B] had 9 children, including:
3A. Jurij Moravec b. 1842, m. 1870 to Ana Krušec (Lončarova) — they remained at this house.
3C. Barbara Moravec b. 1855, m. 1883 to Peter Žalec (Ograjčev).
