While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house carries the name of Kužinovi. At this time, the exact origin of this name is unknown to us.
Through the period of our studies, we have found four distinct houses which originally carried the Špehar surname in Perudina. This is the third of the four houses (in order of house address). The Špehar surname is predominantly found in Damelj, Kot and Perudina.
This house is an offshoot of Perudina 2. This house may have been inhabited by the family from that house after there was no family that successfully carried on their own lineage at this house.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Jurij Špehar b. 1805. He married Ana Štajdohar (Kalihčana from Hrast) b. 1804. Together, they had at least 7 children, including:
1A. Jurij Špehar b. 1834. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
1B. Miha Špehar b. 1837, m. 1867 to Marija Balkovec (Tundekova from Hrast) — they remained at this house.
Miha Špehar [1B] and his wife Marija Balkovec had 5 children, including:
2A. Johan Špehar b. 1870, m. ca. 1899 in Pittsburgh, PA to Katarina Žagar (Žagarova from Nova Lipa).
2B. Ana Špehar b. 1872. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.
2C. Miha Špehar b. 1874. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
2D. Jurij Špehar b. 1878. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
