While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Gornji Ivančevi. It is very likely that this family is related to the family at Perudina 15 and Perudina 20. The Gornji prefix is used to differentiate it from the Ivančevi at Perudina 15 and the Dolnji Ivančevi of Perudina 20.
Through the period of our studies, we have found seven distinct houses which originally carried the Pavlešič surname in Perudina. This is the fourth of the seven houses (in order of house address).
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Miha Pavlešič b. 1776. He married Katarina Pavlešič b. 1784. Together, they had at least 2 children, including:
1A. Jurij Pavlešič b. 1807, m. 1830 to Ana Gašparič (Gašparičeva from Hrast) — they remained at this house.
1B. Katarina Pavlešič b. 1815, died at the age of 35. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.
Jurij Pavlešič [1A] and his wife Ana Gašparič had 7 children, including:
2A. Ana Pavlešič b. 1830, m. ca. 1856 to Matija Pavlešič (Stari Pavlešičev).
2B. Barbara Pavlešič b. 1833, m. 1874 to Jakob Gorše (Hrast 24).
2C. Marija Pavlešič b. 1836, m. 1883 to Jurij Hudak (Perkov from Drenovec) — they lived at Hrast 19.
2D. Katarina Pavlešič b. 1841, died at the age of 71. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.
2E. Johan Pavlešič b. 1846, m. 1873 to Barbara Tomec (Lovrečeva from Podklanec) — they remained at this house.
Johan Pavlešič [2E] and his wife Barbara Tomec had 5 children, including:
3A. Ana Pavlešič b. 1879, m. 1919 to Matija Kuzma (Belčji Vrh 17).
Matija Kuzma and his wife Ana Pavlešič [3A] had no :children.
At this point, Matija Kuzma’s son from his first marriage with Marija Pavlešič (Ivančeva), Matija Kuzma, had his family here.
Matija Kuzma and his wife Roza Špehar (Mavričeva) had 2 children.
