The Mikolini household at Zilje 50 is named for its originator, Nikolaj Žalec (Brdarov). His older brother was married at the Brdari, so Nikolaj with his wife Marija Čemas (Izklančeva) built the house ca. 1885. The surname at the house changed in the 1900s when Jurij Tomec from Golek married into the household.
