While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.
This house is the sixth of nine documented houses in church documents to be considered a “new” house in Sečje Selo. The best estimate for the construction of these series of houses is after 1890.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Miha Mravinec (Gornji Bertov) b. 1819. He married Barbara Vranešič (Fratrovci) b. 1820. Together they had 2 children which died in infancy or early childhood..
After failing to have anymore children at Sečje Selo 15, which is where they started they family, they moved off to live here at Sečje Selo 22 until they died in the mid to late 1890s. At this point, this house went uninhabited and according to church records is now in ruins.
