While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of na Gorici. Rather than being a household name, this was likely a descriptive term to describe the location of the house and in turn used as a name for the people from that house.
This house is the last of the nine documented houses in church documents to be considered a “new” house in Sečje Selo. The best estimate for the construction of these series of houses is after 1940.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Florijan Kobe (Ivančev from Otok pri Vukovci) b. 1896. He married Ana Jesih (Knežina 4). Together they had 1 child.
Florijan Kobe m. 1942 to his second wife Barbara Šnelar (Mlada Papova from Učakovci). Together they had 4 children.
