While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house has the name of Panjankini. This name was likely given to them as they were the only household in Stara Lipa with the Panjan surname.
Through the period of our studies, we have found only one house which originally carried the Panjan surname in Stara Lipa. The Panjan surname is not common in the Vinica parish but much more common in the neighbouring Dragatuš parish.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Matija Panjan b. 1775. Together with his wife, they had at least 5 children, including:
