While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.
Through the period of our studies, we have found five distinct houses which originally carried the Gorše surname in Hrast. This is the second of the five houses (in order of house address).
Despite the fact that the family at this house was originally a Gorše family, there is no evident ties to any other families within the Vinica parish from that family at this time.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch, Doroteja b. 1770. She with her husband had at least 3 children, including:
1A. Katarina Gorše b. 1802, m. ca. 1828 to Miha Kocjan — they remained at this house.
1B. Ana Gorše b. 1805, had one illegitimate son who died in infancy.
1C. Barbara Gorše b. 1819. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.
Miha Kocjan and his wife Katarina Gorše [1A] had 3 children who died in infancy or in their adolescence.
Katarina Gorše [1A] m. ca. 1836 to her second husband Miha Vrtin. Together they had 4 children, including:
2A. Marija Vrtin b. 1836. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.
2B. Miha Vrtin b. 1839. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
At this point, the original Gorše lineage ended at this house. With no offspring to continue the family, Nikolaj Gorše b. 1811 (Hrast 33) lived here with his wife Katarina Flajnik b. 1820 (Hrast 12).
Nikolaj Gorše and his wife Katarina Flajnik had 3 children, including:
3A. Katarina Gorše b. 1849, m. 1869 to a man from Belčji Vrh 25.
Nikolaj Gorše m. ca. 1853 to his second wife Marija Mravinec (Perudina 5). They did not have any children.
Marija Mravinec m. 1854 to her second husband Matija Pavlešič (Perudina 10). Together they had 7 children, including:
3B. Ana Mravinec b. 1856, m. 1875 to Johan Štajdohar (Kalihčan) — they remained at this house.
3C. Matija Mravinec b. 1859. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
3D. Katarina Mravinec b. 1870. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.
Johan Štajdohar and his wife Ana Mravinec [3B] had 9 children, including:
4A. Ana Štajdohar b. 1877, had one illegitimate child with a Flajnik man — she remained at this house.
4B. Johan Štajdohar b. 1882. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
4C. Franc Štajdohar b. 1886, m. 1905 to Katarina Šutej (Oberšana from Sečje Selo) — they remained at this house.

Franc Štajdohar [4C] and his wife Katarina Šutej had one child:
5B. Ana Štajdohar b. 1906. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.
At this time, with no productive offspring remaining at this house, this lineage came to an end. Miha Špehar b. 1886 (Papov from Učakovci) and his wife Marija Papa b. 1883 (Mlinarova from Učakovci) moved into this house after returning from living in Pittsburgh, PA.
