The Lanarkini household at Zilje 30, along with the Markovi and Košuti, likely have their common ancestry at the Košuti. The status animarum records each of these households having 1/3 Hübe, which may indicate they are delniki, although we have no direct evidence of this. The name of this household means “flax growers”. The lineage of this family ended in the 1870s when most of the family”s 8 children died in infancy, only one surviving to age 11.
Marko Čadonič (Markov) moved into this house in the 1880s with his wife, changing the name of the household to Markovi.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj Čadonič. He married Katarina Bubaš. Together, they had at least 7 children, including:

Marko Čadonič (Markov) who was from the house next door married his wife Helena Starešinič (Jurkina) in 1881. Marko was not the oldest son at the Markovi, so he and his wife moved into the the Lanarkini and had a family. Since this time the household name became Markovi.
