In the 1879 status animarum, the households at Zilje 10 and Zilje 11 were recorded as the Gornji and Dolnji Vranešiči, reflecting the surname of both families. There is a record of a marriage in 1774 between a Jelka Muretič from Zilje and a Matija Vranešič from Podklanec, and while we have no direct evidence to link this marriage to the lineages of families with the Vranešič surname, it would explain the end of the Muretič surname in Zilje. The household at Zilje 11 continued with the Vranešič surname until the early 1900s when the Izbrdovi moved into the house from Zilje 55.
