While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either. The house at Podklanec 31 is one of those houses.
Through the period of our studies, we have typically been able to find a connection in every house to another one in the same village or at least in the same parish. This house is an exception to that.
Our source material spans a period of over 300 years and in that period, only three people are evident as being residents at this house but with no connection to any neighbouring houses.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Ana Lovrin b. 1798. Together, with her husband, she had at least 2 children, including:
1A. Nikolaj Belavič b. 1814. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
1B. Matija Belavič b. 1825, m. to a woman in Pribanjci 28.
This house likely was destroyed or purchased by a neighbour as there is no paper trail for it beyond the 1860s.
