While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. There are exceptions to this for reason beyond explanation in this introduction.
This house is the fourth of six documented houses in church documents to be considered a “new” house in Stara Lipa. The original inhabitants of this house find their roots at Stara Lipa 18. The best estimate for the construction of these series of houses is after 1840.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Barič (Mikočev) b. 1824. He married Barbara Rogina (Vrčanova) b. 1832. They did not have any children.
After the death of this couple, Sebastijan Rogina (Ivankov) moved in with his wife Kristina Marentič (Črešnjevec 9).
Sebastijan Rogina and his wife Kristina Marentič had 2 children.
