While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Stari Pavlešiči. This name is derived from the surname of the family that originally inhabited the house. The Stari prefix was likely used to designate this as the original Pavlešič house. It was later changed simply to Pavlešiči.
Through the period of our studies, we have found seven distinct houses which originally carried the Pavlešič surname in Perudina. This is the fifth of the seven houses (in order of house address).
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Jurij Pavlešič b. 1767. He married Barbara Šutej b. 1771. Together, they had at least 4 children, including:
1A. Johan Pavlešič b. 1797, m. ca. 1832 to Marija Mravinec — they remained at this house.
1B. Jurij Pavlešič b. 1799, m. 1836 to Marija Mravinec (Dolnja Mravinčeva) — they lived at Perudina 22.
1C. Peter Pavlešič b. 1803, m. to Marija Gašparič (Gašparičeva from Hrast) — they lived at Perudina 22.
1D. Marija Pavlešič b. 1809, m. 1836 to Miha Šutej (Kovačji Grad 5).
Johan Pavlešič [1A] and his wife Marija Mravinec had 6 children, including:
2A. Matija Pavlešič b. 1836, m. ca. 1856 to Ana Pavlešič (Gornja Ivančeva) — they remained at this house.
2B. Jurij Pavlešič b. 1844. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
Matija Pavlešič [2A] and his wife Ana Pavlešič had 7 children, including:
3A. Ana Pavlešič b. 1857, died at the age of 71. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.
3B. Marija Pavlešič b. 1865, m. 1887 to Johan Frankovič (Janšanov from Hrast).
3C. Matija Pavlešič b. 1869. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
3D. Peter Pavlešič b. 1872. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
At this point, no one remained at this house from the original Pavlešič family. Miha Flajnik (Krejačev) and his wife Marija Jarnjevič (Hrast 40) lived here with their family.
Miha Flajnik and his wife Marija Jarnjevič had 7:children.
