The Dolnji Lugari at Zilje 8 is the original Lugari household. The Gornji Lugari split from the main family ca. 1887 when Gregor Jaketič moved into the Perušiči household next door. The origin of the name of this household is unknown.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Jurij Jaketič. He married Katarina. Together, they had at least 4 children, including:
