While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.
Through the period of our studies, we have found five distinct houses which originally carried the Vidina surname in Vidine. This is the first of the five houses (in order of house address).
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Janko Vidina b. 1821. He married Ana Ivanušič b. 1826. Together, they had at least 9 children, including:
1A. Barbara Vidina b. 1845, m. 1865 to Janko Pavlakovič (Jakovinski from Jakovini)1.
1B. Jurij Vidina b. 1849, m. 1873 to Barbara Miketič (Rtičkova from Jakovini) — they remained at this house.
1C. Ana Vidina b. 1851, m. 1873 to Ivan Pavlakovič (Jakovinski from Jakovini)1.
1D. Matija Vidina b. 1865. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
Janko Vidina m. 1869 to his second wife Katarina Žunič b. 1829. They did not have any children.
1. Janko Pavlakovič and Ivan Pavlakovič were brothers.
Jurij Vidina [1B] and his wife Barbara Miketič had 5 children, including:
2A. Jurij Vidina b. 1874, m. 1897 to Magdalena Starešinič (Brdo 55) — they remained at this house.
2B. Barbara Vidina b. 1875, died at the age of 68. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.
2C. Ana Vidina b. 1882, m. 1903 to a man from Prilišče 19.
2D. Ivan Vidina b. 1887. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
Jurij Vidina [2A] and his wife Magdalena Starešinič had 3 children, including:
3A. Franc Vidina b. 1898. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
3B. Jurij Vidina b. 1900. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
3C. Ana Vidina b. 1904, m. 1923 to Miha Špišič (Miškočov from Jakovini).
Jurij Vidina [2A] m. 1916 to Franca Starešinič (Gradanova from Brdo). They did not have any children.
