While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.
This house is the third of 9 documented houses in church documents to be considered a “new” house in Sečje Selo. The best estimate for the construction of these series of houses is after 1880.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj Šutej (Oberšanov) b. 1859. He married Katarina Moravec (Bahoričeva) b. 1861. Together they had 6 children, including:
1A. Ana Šutej b. 1883, died at the age of 61. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.
1B. Katarina Šutej b. 1885, m. 1905 to Franc Štajdohar (Hrast pri Vinici 25).
1C. Marija Šutej b. 1891, m. 1913 to Jože Žunič (Pribanjci 56).
1D. Nikolaj Šutej b. 1894. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
1E. Franc Šutej b. 1900, m. 1924 to Katarina Zatovšek (Lukinova from Podklanec) — they remained at this house.
Franc Šutej [1E] and his wife Katarina Zatovšek had 1 child:
2A. Franc Šutej b. 1925, m. 1942 to Barbara Runtič (Kovačji Grad 4) — they remained at this house.
