While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house has the name of Lovrečovi. Although it has not yet been confirmed but based on this household name, it is quite conceivable that the original family that inhabited this household was another Lovrenčič family from Damelj or Sinji Vrh Parish.
Through the period of our studies, we have found six houses which originally carried the Žagar surname in Damelj. This is the second of the six houses (in order of house address). The Žagar surname is a common surname found in many parts of Slovenia and not particularly unique to Damelj or this region.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Žagar b. 1780. He married Katarina Filip b. 1781. Together, they had at least 7 children, including:

1G. Matija Žagar b. 1823. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
