While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either. In the case of some smaller settlements such as Ogulin and Drežnik, household names were never widely adopted as there was no need to differentiate families from each other. In the case of Drežnik, there is very limited repetition of surnames leading to the use of surnames as the “household name”.
The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Muhič b. 1768. He married Katarina Bahorič b. 1778. Together, they had at least 6 children, including:

1B. Matija Muhič b. 1801, m. 1828 to Helena Krušec (Krušečeva).
1C. Johan Muhič b. 1804, m. ca. 1826 to Ana Frankovič (Lovrinova from Nova Lipa) — they remained at this house.
1D. Jožef Muhič b. 1806. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
1E. Katarina Muhič b. 1813, m. 1840 to Jurij Lesica (Lesičev) — they lived at Drežnik 12.
1F. Marko Muhič b. 1816. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
Johan Muhič [1C] and his wife Ana Frankovič1 had 9 children, including:
2A. Johan Muhič b. 1827, died at the age of 18. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.
2B. Ana Muhič b. 1839, m. 1861 to Johan Flajnik (Kovačeva from Perudina).
2C. Johan Muhič b. 1848. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
2D. Marija Muhič b. 1851, m. 1883 to a man from Fratrovci 15.
2E. Barbara Muhič b. 1856, died at the age of 20. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.
At this point, the Muhič lineage ended at this house. Johan Vlahovič (Jankočev from Vinica) moved in with his wife Katarina Frankovič (Lovrinova from Nova Lipa)1.
