His wife, Magdalena Balkovec, was born at the <a title=\"Maradini\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/srednje-zilje\/zilje-15-maradini\/\">Maradini<\/a>. They married in 1885 and soon after built this house at Zilje 49, just north of the <a title=\"\u0160peli\u010di\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/gorenjci\/zilje-37-spelici\/\">\u0160peli\u010di<\/a>. After Magdalena&#8217;s third marriage, she moved out and the house was abandoned. Nothing remains of this house today.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Peter Stare\u0161ini\u010d (<a title=\"\u0160peli\u010di-Pe\u010dovi\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/gorenjci\/zilje-1-spelici-pecovi\/\">Pe\u010dov<\/a>). He married Magdalena Balkovec (<a title=\"Maradini\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/srednje-zilje\/zilje-15-maradini\/\">Maradinova<\/a>). Together they had 6 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Jo\u017ee Stare\u0161ini\u010d b. 1889, m. 1913 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Jo\u017eefa Rogina.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Magdalena Balkovec m. 1907 to her second husband Johan \u017dalec (<a title=\"Brdari\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/mureticevo-selo\/zilje-14-meznari-brdari\/\">Brdarov<\/a>). They did not have any children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Magdalena Balkovec m. 1925 to her third husband Miha Jarnjevi\u010d.
