The 1879 status animarum<\/em> for the Preloka<\/a> parish records the household name for this family at Zilje 1 as \u0160peli\u010di. The current name also includes the name Pe\u010dovi, whose origin is unknown. However, since the family at Zilje 37<\/a> (an offshoot from this household) carries only the name \u0160peli\u010di<\/a>, the Pe\u010dovi name must have been added after the two households separated. Individuals from Zilje 1 will be referred to as Pe\u010dovi, only for the sake of simplicity.<\/p>\n

The 1674 Tax Register records a Tome, Marko and Nikolaj Stare\u0161ini\u010d resident in Zilje.<\/p>\n
