These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally had the name of Srednji (Bari\u010devi). This name was given this to differentiate it from the <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-14-dolnji-baricevi\/\">Dolnji<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-14-dolnji-baricevi\/\">Stara Lipa 14<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-15-gornji-brojdicevi\/\">Gornji<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-15-gornji-brojdicevi\/\">Stara Lipa 15<\/a>. This name was later changed to Miko\u010di.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found three houses which originally carried the Bari\u010d surname in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/\">Stara Lipa<\/a>.\u00a0This is the third of the three houses (in order of house address). The Bari\u010d surname is not very common in the Vinica parish but found sporadically in the neighbouring Dragatu\u0161 parish.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj Bari\u010d b. 1783. He married Ana Maljevac b. 1785. Together, they had at least 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Katarina Bari\u010d b. 1804, died at the age of 40. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Barbara Bari\u010d b. 1810, died at the age of 28. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Nikolaj Bari\u010d b. 1813, m. 1834 to Katarina \u0160utej (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vukovci\/the-people\/vukovci-17-doljani\/\">Doljanova<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vukovci\/\">Vukovci<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1D. Johan Bari\u010d b. 1824, m. 1873 to Barbara Rogina (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-9-vrcanovi\/\">Vr\u010danova<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-24\/\">Stara Lipa 24<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Nikolaj Bari\u010d [1C] and his wife Katarina \u0160utej had 10 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Johan Bari\u010d b. 1845, m. 1864 to Ana Rogina (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-7-boljtovi\/\">Boljtova<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2B. Barbara Bari\u010d b. 1855, m. 1876 to Johan Frankovi\u010d (\u017dupanov from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/nova-lipa\/\">Nova Lipa<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2C. Marija Bari\u010d b. 1857, m. 1889 to Johan Rogina (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-19-markovi\/\">Markov<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-13-mihelukini\/\">Stara Lipa 16<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Johan Bari\u010d [2A] and his wife Ana Rogina had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Johan Bari\u010d b. 1866, m. 1890 to Katarina Papa (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-35-sutejovi-papovi\/\">Papova<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/\">U\u010dakovci<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>3B. Nikolaj Bari\u010d b. 1875. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>3C. Barbara Bari\u010d b. 1880. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Johan Bari\u010d [3A] and his wife Katarina Papa had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>4A. Johan Bari\u010d b. 1895. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>4B. Jurij Bari\u010d b. 1897. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>4C. Marija Terezija Bari\u010d b. 1899, m. 1924 to Johan Videti\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-17-zutegovi\/\">\u017dutegov<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>4D. Matija Bari\u010d b. 1907, m. 1929 to Ana Marija Cveti\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-22-cveticevi-jesihovi\/\">Cveti\u010deva<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/\">U\u010dakovci<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Bari\u010d [4D] and his wife Ana Marija Cveti\u010d had 7 children.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name.
