Despite the fact that zet means son-in-law, the origin of this household name is unknown to us at this time.<\/p>\n
Through the period of our studies, we have found eleven houses which originally carried the Rogina surname in Stara Lipa<\/a>.\u00a0This is the seventh of the eleven houses (in order of house address). The Rogina surname is one that is most common in Stara Lipa in the Vinica parish<\/a> but also quite common in the neighbouring Dragatu\u0161 parish<\/a>.<\/p>\n The oldest records we have found to date for a person from this house is for several siblings, including:<\/p>\n 1A. Johan Rogina b. 1768, m. to Marija Valant (Bel\u010dji Vrh) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 1B. Helena Rogina b. 1777, died at the age of 58. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n Johan Rogina [1A] and his wife Marija Valant had 2 children (including 1 adopted), including:<\/p>\n 2A. Katarina Rogina b. 1797, m. ca. 1823 to Miha Jurejev\u010di\u010d — they remained at this house. 2B. Ana Flajnik b. 1809, died at the age of 38. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n Miha Jurejev\u010di\u010d and his wife Katarina Rogina [2A] had 4 children, including:<\/p>\n 3A. Ana Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1835, m. 1853 to Miha Bari\u010d (Bari\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Miha Jurejev\u010di\u010d m. 1836 to his second wife Marija Rogina (\u017dutegova<\/a>). Together they had 6 children, including:<\/p>\n 3B. Marija Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1840, m. 1861 to Peter Rogina (Mikulinov<\/a>).<\/p>\n 3C. Jurij Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1845, m. 1865 to Marija Frankovi\u010d (Lukinova from Nova Lipa<\/a>)1<\/sup> — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 3D. Barbara Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1849, m. 1867 to Miha Frankovi\u010d (Lukinov from Nova Lipa<\/a>)1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n 3E. \u0160tefan Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1853. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 1. Miha Frankovi\u010d and Marija Frankovi\u010d were siblings.<\/em><\/sup><\/p>\n Jurij Jurejev\u010di\u010d [3C] and his wife Marija Frankovi\u010d had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n 4A. Johan Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1869, died at the age of 58. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 4B. Marija Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1872, died at the age of 55. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 4C. Katarina Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1875, died at the age of 44. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 4D. Barbara Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1882, m. 1900 to Johan Panjan (Panjankinov<\/a>).<\/p>\n 4E. Helena Jurejev\u010di\u010d b. 1885, m. to Nikolaj La\u0161i\u010d (Gornji Suhor 15).<\/p>\n 4F.
