While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house has the name of Stani\u010devi. This house name was likely derived from either the man who built this house or one of the patriarchs who lived here, Stane or Stanislav.<\/p>\n

Through the period of our studies, we have found four houses which originally carried the La\u0161i\u010d surname in Stara Lipa<\/a>.\u00a0This is the second of the four houses (in order of house address). The La\u0161i\u010d surname is found in several village in the the Vinica parish<\/a> including Gornji Suhor<\/a> and Dolnji Suhor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Stanislav La\u0161i\u010d b. 1786. He married Ana Rogina b. 1786. Together, they had at least 1 child, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Jurij La\u0161i\u010d b. 1820, m. 1837 to Katarina Rogina (Matanova from Dolnji Suhor<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n
