While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house has the name of La\u0161i\u010devi. This house was likely given this name as it may have been one of the oldest or even the original La\u0161i\u010d family in Stara Lipa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Through the period of our studies, we have found four houses which originally carried the La\u0161i\u010d surname in Stara Lipa<\/a>.\u00a0This is the first of the four houses (in order of house address). The La\u0161i\u010d surname is found in several village in the the Vinica parish<\/a> including Gornji Suhor<\/a> and Dolnji Suhor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Barbara Maljevac b. 1778. Together, with her husband, she had at least 7 children, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Ana La\u0161i\u010d b. 1796, died at the age of 43. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1B. Barbara La\u0161i\u010d b. 1797, died at the age of 65. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1C. Matija La\u0161i\u010d b. 1801, m. ca. 1829 to Marija \u0160nedic (Jel\u0161evnik) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1D. Marija La\u0161i\u010d b. 1804. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n

1E. Johan La\u0161i\u010d b. 1807, died at the age of 43. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1F. Nikolaj La\u0161i\u010d b. 1809, died at the age of 28. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1G. Katarina La\u0161i\u010d b. 1812, m. ca. 1850 to Jurij La\u0161i\u010d (Furmanov from Gornji Suhor<\/a>) — they lived at Gornji Suhor 19.<\/p>\n

Matija La\u0161i\u010d [1C] and his wife Marija \u0160nedic had 6 children, including:<\/p>\n

2A. Miha La\u0161i\u010d b. 1834. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n

2B. Marija La\u0161i\u010d b. 1837, m. 1869 to Johan Frankovi\u010d (Ograjskev from Nova Lipa<\/a>) — they lived at Nova Lipa 15.<\/p>\n

2C. Matija La\u0161i\u010d b. 1841, m. 1869 to Marija Frankovi\u010d (Matkovi\u010deva from Nova Lipa<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

2D. Ana La\u0161i\u010d b. 1844, had 1 illegitimate child — she remained at this house.<\/p>\n

Matija La\u0161i\u010d [2C] and his wife Marija Frankovi\u010d had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n

3A. Ana La\u0161i\u010d b. 1881, m. 1919 to Stanislav Muhi\u010d (Stav\u010dev from Nova Lipa<\/a>).<\/p>\n

3B. Matija La\u0161i\u010d b. 1883, died at the age of 46. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

Ana La\u0161i\u010d [2D] had 1 illegitimate child which died in infancy.<\/p>\n

At this point, the original La\u0161i\u010d lineage ended at this house. Johan Rogina (Roginov<\/a>) moved in with his wife Marija Kokalj (Jane\u0161i\u010deva from Gornji Suhor<\/a>).<\/p>\n
