While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.<\/p>\n
This house is the first of three documented houses in church documents to be considered a \u201cnew\u201d house in Damelj<\/a>. The best estimate for the construction of this house is around 1840.<\/p>\n The \u017dagar families that originally inhabited this house are from the family living at Damelj 25<\/a> the Matkovi<\/a>. Two brothers from that house were living here, Jurij and Jo\u017eef \u017dagar.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Jurij \u017dagar. He married Ana Per\u0161eti\u010d. Together they had 1 child, which died in infancy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jurij \u017dagar m. 1842 to his second wife Lucija Kobe (Draga 17). Together they had 9 children, including:<\/p>\n 1A. Jurij \u017dagar b. 1845, m. 1874 to Ana Maljevac (Miki\u010deva<\/a> from U\u010dakovci<\/a>) — they lived at Vukovci 26<\/a>.<\/p>\n 1B. Jo\u017ee \u017dagar b. 1847, m. 1871 to Marija \u0160utej (Fari\u010deva<\/a> from Vukovci<\/a>) — they lived at Vinica 21.<\/p>\n 1C. Marija \u017dagar b. 1855, m. 1888 to Jurij Flajnik (Bro\u017ei\u010dev<\/a> from Otok<\/a>) — they lived at Vukovci 10<\/a>.<\/p>\n 1D. Peter \u017dagar b. 1860. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Shortly after Jurij \u017dagar and Lucija Kobe stopped having children, Jo\u017ee \u017dagar moved in with his wife Marija \u017dagar (Rim 2).<\/p>\n Jo\u017ee \u017dagar and his wife Marija \u017dagar had 5 children, including:<\/p>\n
