Through the period of our studies, we have found four houses which originally carried the Kobe surname in Damelj<\/a>. This is the last of the four houses (in order of house address). The Kobe surname is not uncommon in the Vinica parish<\/a> but much more common in the neighbouring Sinji Vrh parish<\/a> and Stari Trg parish<\/a>.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Lucija b. 1777.
