Through the period of our studies, we have found one house which originally carried the Lukani\u010d surname in Kot pri Damelju<\/a>. The Lukani\u010d is not originally found anywhere else in the Vinica parish<\/a>. It is much more common in the neighbouring Sinji Vrh parish<\/a>.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Lukani\u010d b. 1773. He married Katarina \u0160nelar b. 1785. Together, they had at least 4 children, including:<\/p>\n 1A. Ana Lukani\u010d b. 1807. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n 1B. Katarina Lukani\u010d b. 1810. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n 1C. Lucija Lukani\u010d b. 1812, m. ca. 1838 to Johan Kobe (Kobetov from Sinji Vrh<\/a>).<\/p>\n 1D. Johan Lukani\u010d b. 1817, m. 1839 to Katarina \u0160nelar — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At the same time, there was also a Kobe family living here with the Lukani\u010d family. Their connection is not apparent. It also appears that this Kobe family was likely not the original inhabitant of this house.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house for this family is for Matija Kobe. He married Ana b. 1746. Together, they had at least 2 children, including<\/p>\n 1E. Matija Kobe b. 1801, m. ca. 1831 to Lucija \u017dalec — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 1F. Peter Kobe b. 1802. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n Johan Lukani\u010d [1D] and his wife Katarina \u0160nelar had 4 children, including:<\/p>\n 2A. Lucija Lukani\u010d b. 1841, m. 1868 to a man from from Damelj pri Lukovdol 6.<\/p>\n 2B. Johan Lukani\u010d b. 1847, m. 1874 to Ana Grenec (Gorica 8) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 2C. Katarina Lukani\u010d b. 1854, died at the age of 60. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Matija Kobe [1E] and his wife Lucija \u017dalec had 10 children, including:<\/p>\n 2D. Katarina Kobe b. 1835.
