Through the period of our studies, we have found two houses which originally carried the \u017dlenar surname in Damelj<\/a>. This is the first of the two houses (in order of house address). To date, the \u017dlenar surname has not been found anywhere else in the Vinica parish<\/a> or the neighbouring Preloka<\/a> and Sinji Vrh parishes<\/a>.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Katarina b. 1760. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 1C. Marija \u017dlenar b. 1808. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n Jo\u017ee \u017dlenar [1A] and his wife Ana Filip had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n 2A. Ana \u017dlenar b. 1823, died at the age of 76. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 2B. Matija \u017dlenar b. 1832, m. ca. 1857 to Ana \u017dagar (Miko\u010deva<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 2C. Katarina \u017dlenar b. 1841, died at the age of 32. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n Matija \u017dlenar [2B] and his wife Ana \u017dagar had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n 3A. Matija \u017dlenarb. 1857, m. 1886 to Barbara \u017dalec (Lahre\u010dkova<\/a>).<\/p>\n 3B. Johan \u017dlenar b. 1866. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 3C.
