While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.<\/p>\n
This house is the first of five documented houses in church documents to be considered a \u201cnew\u201d house in Vukovci<\/a>. The best estimate for the construction of these series of houses is after 1880.<\/p>\n The Fortun family that originally inhabited this house is the family from the marriage between Miha Fortun (Priblanov<\/a>) and Barbara \u0160utej (Novoselkina<\/a> from Kova\u010dji Grad<\/a>).<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Miha Fortun b. 1836. He married Barbara \u0160utej b. 1794. Together they had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n 1A. Miha Fortun b. 1866. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 1B. Barbara Fortun b. 1860, m. to a man from Luk\u0161i\u010di 1.<\/p>\n 1C. Matija Fortun b. 1874, m. Ana Kita-Uram (Korpona, Hungary) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 1D. Nikolaj Fortun b. 1882, m. 1903 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to Magdalena Verbanec (Fratrovci 29) — they returned to live at this house.<\/p>\n Matija Fortun [1C] and his wife Ana Kita-Uram had 1 child:<\/p>\n 2A. Nikolaj Fortun b. 1904. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nikolaj Fortun [1D] and his wife Magdalena Verbanec had 2 children:<\/p>\n 2B. Jo\u017eef Fortun b. 1904. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 2C. Johan Fortun b. 1913.
