This house originally had the name of Ivan\u010devi. This name is likely derived from the name of the patriarch at this house at some point. The household name was later changed to Poljan\u010devi.<\/p>\n
Through the period of our studies, we have found two houses which originally carried the Kobe surname in Otok<\/a>. This is the second of the two houses (in order of house address). The Kobe surname is more commonly found in Sinji Vrh Parish<\/a> and Stari Trg Parish<\/a>.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Matija Kobe. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 1D. Barbara Kobe b. 1811, m. ca. 1832 to Johan \u0160utej (Doljanov<\/a> from Vukovci<\/a>).<\/p>\n 1E. Peter Kobe b. 1814, m. 1849 to Katarina Lesica (Le\u0161i\u010deva<\/a> from Dre\u017enik<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 1F. Marko Kobe b. 1819, had 1 child with a woman Marija — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Matija Kobe m. ca. 1837 to his second wife Ana Maljevac.
