These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally had the name of Pa\u010dovi. At this time, the exact origin of this name is unknown to us.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found two houses which originally carried the Kobe surname in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/otok\/\">Otok<\/a>. This is the first of the two houses (in order of house address). The Kobe surname is more commonly found in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/sinji-vrh\/\">Sinji Vrh Parish<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/stari-trg\/\">Stari Trg Parish<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Margareta. With her husband, she had at least 1 child:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Jo\u017ee Kobe b. 1787, m. ca. 1810 to Katarina \u017dalec &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jo\u017ee Kobe [1A] and his wife Katarina \u017dalec had at least 6 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Johan Kobe b. 1811. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>2B.
