While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either. In the case of some smaller settlements such as Ogulin<\/a> and Dre\u017enik<\/a>, household names were never widely adopted as there was no need to differentiate families from each other. In the case of Dre\u017enik, there is very limited repetition of surnames leading to the use of surnames as the “household name”.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Matija Frankovi\u010d b. 1779. He married Ana Flajnik b. 1785. Together, they had at least 9 children, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Ana Frankovi\u010d b. 1807. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n

1B. Marko Frankovi\u010d b. 1809, m. 1845 to Barbara Kobeti\u010d (Kobeti\u010deva<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1C. Matija Frankovi\u010d b. 1811, m. 1833 to Barbara Rogina (Roginova<\/a>)1<\/sup> — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1D. Lucija Frankovi\u010d b. 1812, m. 1833 to Matija Rogina (Roginov<\/a>)1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

1E. Barbara Frankovi\u010d b. 1815, m. 1841 to Johan Markovi\u010d (Markovi\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n

1F. Katarina Frankovi\u010d b. 1819, had 1 illegitimate child — she remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1G. Marija Frankovi\u010d b. 1824, m. 1844 to Jurij Frankovi\u010d (Jelkin from Nova Lipa<\/a>).<\/p>\n

1H. Peter Frankovi\u010d b. 1827, died at the age of 61. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1I. Helena Frankovi\u010d b. 1831, m. 1880 to Nikolaj Jur\u0161ini\u010d (Vrtinov<\/a> from Hrast<\/a>) — they lived at Nova Lipa 29.<\/p>\n

1. Matija Rogina and Barbara Rogina were siblings.<\/em><\/sup><\/p>\n

Marko Frankovi\u010d [1B] and his wife Barbara Kobeti\u010d had 4 children, including:<\/p>\n

2A. Matija Frankovi\u010d b. 1850, died at the age of 22. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

2B. Jurij Frankovi\u010d b. 1858, m. 1880 to Ana Frankovi\u010d (Ograjska from Nova Lipa<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

Barbara Kobeti\u010d m. 1861 to her second husband Nikolaj Rogina (Markov from Stara Lipa<\/a>). They did not have any children.<\/p>\n

2C. Barbara Frankovi\u010d b. 1835, had 5 illegitimate children — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

2D. Ana Frankovi\u010d b. 1837, m. 1862 to Jurij Kajin (Mi\u0161i\u010dev<\/a> from Podklanec<\/a>).<\/p>\n

2E. Johan Frankovi\u010d b. 1850, died at the age of 39 in the United States. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

3A. Marko Frankovi\u010d b. 1885. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n

3B. Ana Frankovi\u010d b. 1888 in Snow Shoe, Pennsylvania, m. 1918 to Johan Ro\u017ei\u0107 (Pribanjci 25) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

3C. Franc Frankovi\u010d b. 1898, died at the age of 18 in Plze\u0148, Czech Republic. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

3D. Matija Frankovi\u010d b. 1875. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n

Johan Ro\u017ei\u0107 and his wife Ana Frankovi\u010d [3B] had 8 children.<\/p>\n
