The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either. In the case of some smaller settlements such as <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ogulin\/\">Ogulin<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/dreznik\/\">Dre\u017enik<\/a>, household names were never widely adopted as there was no need to differentiate families from each other. In the case of Dre\u017enik, there is very limited repetition of surnames leading to the use of surnames as the &#8220;household name&#8221;.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Jurij \u0160nelar b. 1785. He married Ana Simoni\u010d b. 1784. Together, they had at least 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Katarina \u0160nelar b. 1812. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Marija \u0160nelar b. 1817, died at the age of 73. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Jurij \u0160nelar b. 1819, m. 1848 to Barbara Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-40\/\">Hrast pri Vinici 40<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1D. Miha \u0160nelar b. 1823, died at the age of 21. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jurij \u0160nelar [1C] and his wife Barbara Flajnik had 1 child which died in infancy..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jurij \u0160nelar [1C] m. 1852 to his second wife Barbara Belavi\u010d (Belavi\u010deva from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/nova-lipa\/\">Nova Lipa<\/a>). Together they had 5 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Jurij \u0160nelar b. 1853, m. 1877 to Ana Filip (Brajdi\u010deva from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/nova-lipa\/\">Nova Lipa<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2B. Matija \u0160nelar b. 1856, m. 1879 to a woman from Fratrovci 15.<\/p>\n<p>2C. Marija \u0160nelar b. 1858, m. 1886 to Jurij Vrane\u0161i\u010d (Fratrovci 5).<\/p>\n<p>2D. Johan \u0160nelar b. 1862. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jurij \u0160nelar [2A] and his wife Ana Filip had 6 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Ana \u0160nelar b. 1880, m. 1898 to Stanislav Muhi\u010d (Stave\u010dev from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/nova-lipa\/\">Nova Lipa<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>3B. Franc \u0160nelar b. 1884. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>3C. Marija \u0160nelar b. 1889, m. 1911 to Matija Kobeti\u010d (Kobeti\u010dev).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After no one continued to have children at this house, the son of Ana \u0160nelar [3A], Stanislav Muhi\u010d b. 1900, born at Nova Lipa 31 moved back here with his wife Margareta Kru\u0161ec (Roginova).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Stanislav Muhi\u010d and his wife Margareta Kru\u0161ec had 7 children.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence.
