While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Mikanovi. This name is derived from the original patriarch who was named Mika or more commonly Nikolaj.<\/p>\n
This house is the fourth of nine documented houses in church documents to be considered a \u201cnew\u201d house in Se\u010dje Selo<\/a>. The best estimate for the construction of these series of houses is after 1880.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj Radovi\u010d (Radovi\u010dev<\/a>) b. 1843. He married Ana \u0160utej (Ober\u0161anova<\/a>) b. 1853. Together they had 2 children which died in infancy or early childhood.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nikolaj Radovi\u010d m. 1879 to his second wife Katarina Puhek (Tkal\u010deva<\/a>). Together they had 6 children, including:<\/p>\n 1A. Barbara Radovi\u010d b. 1882, m. 1904 in Great Falls, Montana to Peter Miheli\u010d (Dobli\u010de).<\/p>\n 1B. Marija Radovi\u010d b. 1886.
