While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Kal\u010devi. This household name was likely given later when Miha Puhek of Se\u010dje Selo 3<\/a> moved in with his wife.<\/p>\n

This house is the third of 9 documented houses in church documents to be considered a \u201cnew\u201d house in Se\u010dje Selo<\/a>. The best estimate for the construction of these series of houses is after 1870.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Flajnik (Dolnji Turmarov<\/a> from Hrast<\/a>) b. 1840. He married Ana Radovi\u010d (Radovi\u010deva<\/a>) b. 1838. Together, they had at least 6 children, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Marija Flajnik b. 1873, m. 1892 to Jurij Mamek.<\/p>\n

At this point, with no children to continue having a family here, the Flajnik lineage ended at this house.\u00a0 Miha Puhek (Tkal\u010dev<\/a>) b. 1868, m. 1896 to Franca Verderbar (Ober\u0161anova<\/a>) b. 1877 moved in to have their family.<\/p>\n

Miha Puhek and his wife Franca Verderbar had 12 children, including:<\/p>\n

2A. Ana Puhek b. 1896, m. 1923 to Franc Vitkovi\u010d (\u010curinov<\/a> from Podklanec<\/a>).<\/p>\n

2B. Angela Puhek b. 1902, m. 1927 to Jurij Kalki\u010d (Vukova Gorica 17).<\/p>\n

2C. Kristina Puhek b. 1904, m. 1930 to Josip Koli\u010dar.<\/p>\n

2D. Marija Puhek b. 1906, m. 1934 to Miha \u0160tefani\u010d (Kruhe\u010dov<\/a> from Podklanec<\/a>) — they lived at Vinica 45.<\/p>\n

2E. Johana Puhek b. 1909. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n

2F. Johan Puhek b. 1913, m. 1936 to Ljuba Fabi\u010d (Pribanjci 52) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

2G. Miha Puhek b. 1916, m. Ivanka Jur\u0161ak (Zapudje<\/a>).<\/p>\n

2H. Barbara Puhek b. 1920. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n
