These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Jakovi. This name is likely derived from the patriarch Jakob Stare\u0161ini\u010d.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found one distinct houses which originally carried the Stare\u0161ini\u010d surname in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/secje-selo\/\">Se\u010dje Selo<\/a>. Despite the fact that the patriarch was a Stare\u0161ini\u010d man, his wife was a \u0160utej which leads to believe that he married into this house as \u0160utej is a much more common surname in this part of the parish. The Stare\u0161ini\u010d surname is more commonly found in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/brdo\/\">Preloka<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj Stare\u0161ini\u010d b. 1780. He married Barbara \u0160utej b. 1785. Together, they had at least 8 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Ana Stare\u0161ini\u010d b. 1805.
