These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house carries the name of Nadbregovi. This name is most likely derived from the physical location of the house &#8220;nad breg&#8221; or on the hill.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found three distinct houses which originally carried the Ivanu\u0161i\u010d surname in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/valeti\/\">Valeti<\/a>. This is the first of the three houses (in order of house address).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1805. He married Barbara Krotec b. 1806. Together, they had at least 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Ana Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1837, m. 1865. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Marija Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1839, m. 1867 to a man from Prili\u0161\u010de 59.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Jurij Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1842, died at the age of 53. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1D. Matija Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1845, m. 1868 to Marija Krotec (Kova\u010deva from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/brdo\/\">Brdo<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Ivanu\u0161i\u010d [1D] and his wife Marija Krotec had 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Katarina Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1871, m. 1894 to a man from Prili\u0161\u010de 45.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Matija Ivanu\u0161i\u010d [1D] m. 1879 to his second wife Katarina Vidina (Jukanova from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/vidine\/\">Vidine<\/a>). Together they had 1 child which died in infancy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Matija Ivanu\u0161i\u010d [1D] m. 1882 to his third wife Marija Erdeljac (Prili\u0161\u010de 52). Together they had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2B. Nikolaj Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1883, m. 1901 to Barbara \u017duni\u010d (Stara\u010deva from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zunici\/\">\u017duni\u010di<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2C. Ana Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1892. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>2D. Jo\u017ee Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1898. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Nikolaj Ivanu\u0161i\u010d [2A] and his wife Barbara \u017duni\u010d had 6 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Marija Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1902, m. 1920 to Ivan Pavlakovi\u010d (Grdinov from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/kroci\/\">Kroci<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>3B. Nikolaj Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1907, m. 1934 to Johana \u017dugelj (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/the-people\/dolnji-podklanec\/podklanec-4-dolnji-medvedovi-zuglji\/\">\u017dugljova<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/\">Podklanec<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>3C. Ana Ivanu\u0161i\u010d b. 1912, m. 1930 to a man from Vukova Gorica 31.<\/p>\n<p>3D.
