The Gornji Bro\u017ei\u010di household at Zilje 9 is the original Bro\u017ei\u010d household in Zilje<\/a>. The split between the Gornji and Dolnji Bro\u017ei\u010di<\/a> happened ca. 1818, and there is evidence the two families remained close enough that each had children born in both houses. The name of this household derives from the Bro\u017ei\u010d surname, which was in use until Nikolaj \u017dugelj (\u017dugljov<\/a>) married into the family in 1885.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for is for Nikolaj Bro\u017ei\u010d. Together with his wife, they had at least 1 child, including:<\/p>\n
