These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Ga\u0161pari\u010devi. This name was adopted from the house from which Nikolaj Ga\u0161pari\u010d came from.<\/p>\n<p>This house is the fourth of ten documented houses in church documents to be considered a &#8220;new&#8221; house in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/\">Hrast<\/a>. The best estimate for the construction of these series of houses is after 1830.<\/p>\n<p>The Ga\u0161pari\u010d family that originally inhabited this house is an offshoot of the original Ga\u0161pari\u010d house at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-26-gasparicevi\/\">Hrast 26<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj Ga\u0161pari\u010d b. 1855. He married Katarina \u0160utej (\u0160utejova from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/secje-selo\/\">Se\u010dje Selo<\/a>) b. 1856 in 1877. Together they had 7 children including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Johan Ga\u0161pari\u010d b. 1885, m. 1910 to Marija Balkovec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-10-mali-balkovci\/\">Mala Balkov\u010deva<\/a>) &#8212; they lived in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Jurij Ga\u0161pari\u010d b. 1894, m. 1918 to Marija Balkovec (Drenovec 13) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Marija Ga\u0161pari\u010d b. 1895, m. 1919 to Franc Frankovi\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-21\/\">Hrast 21<\/a>).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jurij Ga\u0161pari\u010d [1B] and his wife Marija Balkovec had 7 children.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name.
