While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.<\/p>\n
Through the period of our studies, we have found seventeen distinct houses which originally carried the Flajnik surname. This is the sixteenth of the seventeen houses (in order of house address). The Flajnik surname is only originally found in Hrast<\/a>, Perudina<\/a> and Vukovci<\/a>.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Miha Flajnik b. 1750. He married Katarina Medo\u0161 b. 1775. Together, they had at least 5 children, including:<\/p>\n 1A. Johan Flajnik b. 1793. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 1B. Nikolaj Flajnik b. 1801, m. 1825 to Barbara \u0160tajdohar — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 1C. Ana Flajnik b. 1810, m. 1833 to Matija Pirnat (Pirnatov<\/a>).<\/p>\n 1D. Marko Flajnik b. 1813, died at the age of 55. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 1E. Katarina Flajnik b. 1817. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n Nikolaj Flajnik [1B] and his wife Barbara \u0160tajdohar had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n 2A. Barbara Flajnik b. 1826, m. ca. 1848 to Jurij \u0160nelar (Dre\u017enik 1).<\/p>\n 2B. Nikolaj Flajnik b. 1829, m. ca. 1853 to Marija Frankovi\u010d (Simonova from Nova Lipa<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 2C. Ana Flajnik b. 1837. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nikolaj Flajnik [1B] m. ca. 1854 to his second wife Katarina La\u0161i\u010d. Together they had 3 children which died in infancy or early childhood.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Katarina La\u0161i\u010d m. ca. 1861 to her second husband Nikolaj Perdi\u010d. Together they had 2 children which died in infancy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nikolaj Perdi\u010d m. 1864 to his second wife Barbara Balkovec (Tundekova<\/a>). Together they had 4 children, including:<\/p>\n 2D. Ana Perdi\u010d b. 1868. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n Nikolaj Flajnik [2B] and his wife Marija Frankovi\u010d had 1 child:<\/p>\n 3A. Nikolaj Flajnik b. 1854, m. 1884 to Katarina Rogina (Stara Lipa 2) — they lived at Nova Lipa 29.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At this point, the original Flajnik lineage came to an end at this house. Peter Jak\u0161a (Hrasinec 3) and his wife Ana Hudak (Drenovec 10) moved in.<\/p>\n Peter Jak\u0161a and his wife Ana Hudak had 6 children, including:<\/p>\n
