While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.<\/p>\n
Through the period of our studies, we have found seventeen distinct houses which originally carried the Flajnik surname. This is the fifteenth of the seventeen houses (in order of house address). The Flajnik surname is only originally found in Hrast<\/a>, Perudina<\/a> and Vukovci<\/a>.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Flajnik b. 1793. He married Ana Gor\u0161e b. 1792. Together, they had at least 6 children, including:<\/p>\n 1A. Johan Flajnik b. 1804, m. ca. 1845 to Katarina Per\u0161eti\u010d (Vinica 16) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 1B. Katarina Flajnik b. 1808, m. 1836 to Miha Mravinec (Hrast 20<\/a>).<\/p>\n 1C. Ana Flajnik b. 1813, m. 1847 to Johan Ga\u0161pari\u010d (Ga\u0161pari\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n 1D. Nikolaj Flajnik b. 1822. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 1E. Matija Flajnik b. 1825, died at the age of 45. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 1F. Marko Flajnik b. 1828, m. ca. 1869 to Marija Benec (Podklanec 16<\/a>) — they lived at Hrast 22<\/a>.<\/p>\n Johan Flajnik [1A] and his wife Katarina Per\u0161eti\u010d had 5 children, including:<\/p>\n 2A. Ana Flajnik b. 1853, m. 1880 to Jo\u017ee \u0160pehar (Gornji Suhor 1).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Johan Flajnik [1A] m. ca. 1855 to his second wife Ana Flajnik (Hrast 41<\/a>). Together they had 9 children, including:<\/p>\n 2B. Nikolaj Flajnik b. 1862, m. 1887 to Ana Cveti\u010d (Jesihova<\/a> from U\u010dakovci<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 2C. Franc Flajnik b. 1865. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 2D. Matija Flajnik b. 1868. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n 2E. Jurij Flajnik b. 1871. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n Nikolaj Flajnik [2B] and his wife Ana Cveti\u010d had 3 children, including:<\/p>\n 3A. Nikolaj Flajnik b. 1888, m. 1910 to Franca Male\u0161i\u010d (Bra\u010dkova<\/a> from Podklanec<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 3B. Ana Flajnik b. 1892. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n 3C. Angela Flajnik b. 1909, died at the age of 57.
