These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Zapoj\u010devi. At this time, the origin of this name is unknown to us although, the name itself would suggest that there may have been a singer from this house or just someone who just didn&#8217;t know how to keep his mouth shut.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found five distinct houses which originally carried the Gor\u0161e surname in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/\">Hrast<\/a>. This is the third of the five houses (in order of house address).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Miha Gor\u0161e b. 1779. He married Katarina La\u0161i\u010d b. 1781. Together, they had at least 7 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Jurij Gor\u0161e b. 1803, m. ca. 1828 to Helena Mravinec &#8212; they remained at this house..<\/p>\n<p>1B. Johan Gor\u0161e b. 1805, m. ca. 1848 to Ana Balkovec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-31-polancevi-misicevi\/\">Polan\u010deva<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>1C. Barbara Gor\u0161e b. 1808, m. ca. 1838 to Matija Kru\u0161ec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-4-loncari\/\">Lon\u010darov<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/\">U\u010dakovci<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>1D. Nikolaj Gor\u0161e b. 1811, m. ca. 1846 to Katarina Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-12\/\">Hrast 12<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-25\/\">Hrast 25<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>1E. Ana Gor\u0161e b. 1814, m. 1847 to Miha \u010cadoni\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-32-ziljani\/\">Ziljan<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>1F. Miha Gor\u0161e b. 1816, m. 1849 to Ana Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/the-people\/perudina-17-dolnji-bertovi-flajniki\/\">Dolnja Bertova<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/\">Perudina<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-43-kraljevi\/\">Hrast 43<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>1G. Marija Gor\u0161e b. 1818, m. ca. 1840 to Nikolaj Balkovec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/dolnje-zilje\/zilje-25-dolnji-hajduki\/\">Dolnji Hajdukov<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/dolnje-zilje\/zilje-42-hrastovniki\/\">Zilje 42<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jurij Gor\u0161e [1A] and his wife Helena Mravinec had 1 child which died in infancy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jurij Gor\u0161e [1A] m. ca. 1839 to his second wife Helena Radovi\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/secje-selo\/the-people\/secje-selo-2-sevlari\/\">Sevlarova<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/secje-selo\/\">Se\u010dje Selo<\/a>). Together they had 9 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Barbara Gor\u0161e b. 1839. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>2B. Jurij Gor\u0161e b. 1841, m. 1869 to Ana Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-28-junicari\/\">Juni\u010darova<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2C. Marija Gor\u0161e b. 1844, died at the age of 71. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>2D. Helena Gor\u0161e b. 1848. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>2E. Ana Gor\u0161e b. 1850, m. 1879 to Peter Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-2-kaplanovi\/\">Kaplanov<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2F. Johan Gor\u0161e b. 1855, m. 1882 to Helena Mravinec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/the-people\/perudina-5-dolnji-mravinci\/\">Dolnja Mravin\u010deva<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/\">Perudina<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jurij Gor\u0161e [2B] and his wife Ana Flajnik had 3 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Lojze Gor\u0161e b. 1898, m. 1922 to Helena Kobe (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vukovci\/the-people\/vukovci-18-knezovi-belcevi\/\">Bel\u010deva<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vukovci\/\">Vukovci<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>3G. Franc Gor\u0161e b. 1902, m. 1922 to Katarina Stegne (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/the-people\/golek-pri-vinici-11-bubasi\/\">Buba\u0161ova<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/\">Golek<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>3I.
