It is important to point out that these tax registers only list individuals who were subjects of the Lord for whom the register was created. There were other individuals, along with their families, living in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ogulin\/\">Ogulin<\/a> at this time.<\/p>\n<p>When we turn to Birth and Marriage Registers (mati\u010dne knjige) kept by the Catholic Church, we can identify 6 individual households existing in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ogulin\/\">Ogulin<\/a> in the year 1820. Some of these households, and the houses themselves, have since vanished. Other have been since created, usually as delniki, i.e. by partitions of a pre-existing household into two (or more) households.<\/p>\n<p>The families in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ogulin\/\">Ogulin<\/a> are long standing families where ownership of households did not change hands very often. The surnames found in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ogulin\/\">Ogulin<\/a> are not very widespread and are more commonly found in houses in the surrounding <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/drenovec\/\">Drenovec<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vinica\/\">Vinica<\/a>. The surnames found in Ogulin are Beneti\u010d, Cestnik, Culiberk, Kal\u010di\u010d, Perko and Trempus.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of the houses of <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ogulin\/\">Ogulin<\/a> with both the original house numbers and today\u2019s house numbers (if the house still exists).
