The Markovi household at Zilje 29, along with the Lanarkini<\/a> and Ko\u0161uti<\/a>, likely have their common ancestry at the Ko\u0161uti<\/a>. The status animarum<\/em> records each of these households having 1\/3 H\u00fcbe, which may indicate they are delniki<\/em>, although we have no direct evidence of this. When the Lanarkini<\/a> at Zilje 30<\/a> produced no children that lived into adulthood, Marko \u010cadoni\u010d (Markov<\/a>) from Zilje 29<\/a> moved in with his family, transferring the name Markovi<\/a> to Zilje 30<\/a>, where it remains today. The lineage at the original Markovi household ended in the 1920s, and most of the family moved to the USA. This original Markovi house no longer exists, and was likely directly east of the current Markovi<\/a> house at Zilje 30<\/a>, probably under, what is now, the new road.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Marko \u010cadoni\u010d. He married Margareta. Together, they had at least 1 child, including:<\/p>\n

After the family moved to Pittsburgh, the house was abandoned and quickly fell into ruin. It is likely the new road has been built over its foundations.<\/p>\n
