While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.<\/p>\n
Through the period of our studies, we have found two distinct houses which originally carried the Mravinec surname in Hrast<\/a>. This is the second of the two houses (in order of house address). The Mravinec surname is not a common surname in the Vinica Parish but can be found in many villages across the region.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Peter Mravinec b. 1775. He and his wife had at least 1 child:<\/p>\n 1A. Barbara Mravinec b. 1801, m. ca. 1837 to Jo\u017ee Jur\u0161ini\u010d (Vrtinov).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Peter Mravinec b. 1775 married a second time to Ana Balkovec b. 1782 and had at least 6 children, including:<\/p>\n 1B. Johan Mravinec b. 1811, m. 1875 to Marija Hudelja (Kne\u017eina 1) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 1C. Katarina Mravinec b. 1814. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n 1D. Miha Mravinec b. 1818, died at the age of 43. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 1E. Marija Mravinec b. 1821, died at the age of 32. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 1F. Matija Mravinec b. 1829. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n Johan Mravinec [1B] and his wife Marija Hudelja had 5 children, including:<\/p>\n 2A. Marija Mravinec b. 1855, m.1879 to Johan Frankovi\u010d (Lukinov from Nova Lipa<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 2B. Katarina Mravinec b. 1858, m. 1884 to Johan Jur\u0161ini\u010d (Vrtinov) — they lived at Hrast 44.<\/p>\n Johan Frankovi\u010d and his wife Marija Mravinec [2A] had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n 3A. Ana Frankovi\u010d b. 1884. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n 3B. Barbara Frankovi\u010d b. 1886, m. 1907 to Adam Bari\u010d (Bori\u010dev from Stara Lipa<\/a>)<\/p>\n 3C. Miha Frankovi\u010d b. 1888. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n
