While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.<\/p>\n
Through the period of our studies, we have found two distinct houses which originally carried the Mravinec surname in Hrast<\/a>. This is the first of the two houses (in order of house address). The Mravinec surname is not a common surname in the Vinica Parish but can be found in many villages across the region.<\/p>\n The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Ana b. 1779. She with her husband had at least 2 children, including:<\/p>\n 1A. Ana Mravinec b. 1804, m. 1836 to Peter Flajnik (Magain\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n 1B. Miha Mravinec b. 1808, m. 1836 to Katarina Flajnik (Hrast 39) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n Miha Mravinec [1B] and his wife Katarina Flajnik had 4 children:<\/p>\n 2A. Barbara Mravinec b. 1837, m.1867 to \u0160tefan Fortun (Otok 23).<\/p>\n 2B. Katarina Mravinec b. 1841, m. 1872 to Matija \u0160pehar (Hrast 29)1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n 2C. Johan Mravinec b. 1844, m. 1874 to Katarina \u0160pehar (Hrast 29)1<\/sup> — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 2D. Ana Mravinec b. 1846. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Miha Mravinec [1B] m. ca. 1849 to his second wife Barbara Flajnik (Kaplanova<\/a>). Together they had 2 children, including:<\/p>\n 2E. Marija Mravinec b. 1850, m. 1875 to Jurij \u0160pehar (Hrast 29)1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n 1. Matija \u0160pehar, Katarina \u0160pehar and Jurij \u0160pehar were siblings.<\/sup><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Miha Mravinec [1B] m. ca. 1859 to his third wife Helena Valant (Bel\u010dji Vrh 28). Together they had 2 children:<\/p>\n 2F. Helena Mravinec b. 1860, m. 1880 to Johan Kobe (Knezov from Vukovci<\/a>).<\/p>\n 2G. Miha Mravinec b. 1863, m. 1887 to Barbara Balkovec (Drenovec 10) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n Johan Mravinec [2C] and his wife Katarina \u0160pehar had 1 child:<\/p>\n 3A. Rok Mravinec b. 1886. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Miha Mravinec [2G] and his wife Barbara Balkovec had 2 children both of which died in infancy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Barbara Balkovec m. 1893 to her second husband Matija Bahor (Dragovanja Vas 10). Together they had 3 children:<\/p>\n 3B. Matija Bahor b. 1899, m. 1926 to Marija Male\u0161i\u010d (Bra\u010dkova) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 3C. Jo\u017ee Bahor b. 1901, m. 1932 to Virginija Per\u0161eti\u010d (Petrograd) — they lived at Vinica 13.<\/p>\n 3D. Angela Bahor b. 1903, m. 1924 to \u0160tefan Toma\u017ei\u010d (Markov from Nova Lipa<\/a>).<\/p>\n Matija Bahor [3B] and his wife Marija Male\u0161i\u010d had one child.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
